Gautham Menon makes SSS a more of technician’s flick rather than artists, romance, drama or emotions. Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo Artists and Technicians: Basic storyline hasn’t got much juice in it. What is Kamath’s motto behind this operation? Who Leela actually is? What happened to Rajinikanth and Leela’s love story? A crooked police officer Kamath (Baba Sehgal) falls behind them in this chase to save their lives. Rajini joins Leela in an action filled adventure only to lose his friend Mahesh, Leela’s parents. They face a serious accident and Leela goes missing with her parents attacked somewhere in Maharashtra. Leela joins Rajini on a road trip to Kanya Kumari where the actual problem begins. Slowly, Rajini and Leela get close and have their beautiful moments in budding love story. His sister Maithreyi’s friend Leela Sathyamurthy (Manjima Mohan) joins the family for a short period pursuing a film making course. Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo Story: Rajinikanth (Naga Chaitanya) is a graduate guy from Vizag planning to settle in life. Manjima Mohan and AR Rahman are additional attractions. Banking on ‘Premam’ and Chaitu’s craze, finally the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial has hit the screen today when people are making long queues before banks for the new currency. However, this film ends up as an okay watch only because of Naga Chaitanya who gives a superb performance and holds the film together.Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo Review, What’s Behind: For technical reasons, this film’s release is long delayed. But the lack luster and silly climax can disappoint many. On the whole, Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo has some very interesting moments throughout and will impress the younger generation. Had he handled the climax in a better way, the outcome would have been even better. Some work well but there are certainly other factors like the back to back songs which can go against the film. He has tried many new things in terms of narration.
Editing is sleek and so were the dialogues.Ĭoming to the director Gautam Menon, he has done a decent job with the film. Production values are good and credit should go to the cameraman for showcasing the simple proceedings in an interesting way. The placement of these songs is also wrong.Īll those who seek superb romance and entertainment during the second half will get disappointed a bit.Īs said earlier, music by A R Rahman is very good and holds the film together. The film had scope for more romance but Gautam narrated the film in his own sweet time and with many songs coming in as speed breakers. The way Chay’s character springs a surprise during the end is outright silly. Even though the way Gautam Menon wraps up things is okay, they look quite unbelievable and over the top from the outside. The climax of the film is quite disappointing.
While the first half of the film is quite breezy the second half turns quite serious and thrilling till the pre-climax. Both his music and background score elevate the film to another level.īaba Sehgal is lethal in his performance and gives the film an edge. Undoubtedly, A R Rahman is yet another highlight of this film. Manjima Mohan makes a decent debut and suits her role well. Chaitu nails it as the lover boy during the first half and springs a surprise with his serious tone and thrilling performance during the second half. The young hero has lost all his inhibitions and has become super confident in his approach towards his performances. Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo completely belongs to Chay. Who are these people ? What do they have to do with such a young couple ? and how will Naga Chaitanya save his girl friend from this chaos. Thereafter, things become even more difficult for the couple as a dreaded gang starts attacking them. The twist in the tale arises when the beautiful road trip changes upside down because of a horrible accident. As time passes by, he gets close to Leela and takes her for a long road trip. Let’s see how it is.Ĭhinna(Chaitanya) is a college going youth who falls in love with Leela(Manjima Mohan), his sister’s best friend. Directed by Gautam Menon, this film has hit the screens today. After the super success of his last film Premam, he is back with yet another interesting project Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo. Naga Chaitanya is in the best phase of his career.
